Announcing the Heritage Education Program:

A developmental decorative painting program for all skill levels from beginner to advanced.

If you are a beginning painter interested in learning the art of decorative painting or a "seasoned" painter who has begun to look for more, this is the series for you: spend an evening a week in the company of other artists exploring your inner creativity and investing in your art education with the Heritage Education Program.

While painting beautiful trays, trunks, and other surfaces for your home, this system will take you from the basics to the advanced in painting techniques as well as fill in the blanks and provide the advanced painter with the knowledge that was missed while just painting projects.

The Heritage Education course is a sequential program consisting of 3 modules (1, 2, and 3) with 10 lessons in each section (for a total of 30 lessons) that gradually increase in difficulty and skill level. Along the way, you will enjoy the camaraderie of other students, the joy of creativity and the rich history of the decorative painting styles.

Beginning Level Classes:

Module 1 classes are especially appropriate for individuals who have never painted, have painted on a limited basis only, or have painted using oils and need brought up-to-date on the current techniques involved with acrylic painting. The Module 1 classes are divided into six-week sessions. The fee for each six week session is $80.00 and includes over 12 hours of instruction, instructional packets, photos and instructional fee. Module 1 <p>

Paint

It is a requirement of the Heritage Education Program that you paint with the Heritage Multimedia line. It is the finest quality acrylic which includes top-of-the-line pigments that enable a small drop of paint to cover three times the surface of other paints. The colors never fade and include properties that enable a decorative artist to complete techniques never before possible using an acrylic. We stock the entire line and also offer an economical beginner's ten-pack. It is included in the beginner's kit or can be purchased separately.

Surfaces

Surfaces for the first 6 week session of classes are separate from the tuition fee and are due in the class the surface is introduced.

Upon completing the class, students will have the opportunity to complete the entire program.

Class Information

HERITAGE EDUCATION PROGRAM Module 1 (6 weeks): $80 (tuition only)

Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 starting on 10/7/09 and ending on 11/18/09.
